Our Story
In 1995, Founder and CEO, Judy Hoff, a nurse educator by background, along with her husband, Ron Hoff, President, and CTO, combined their expertise to create Healthcare Academy (HCA), an online education platform designed specifically for long-term and post-acute care. They wanted to give providers a high quality, self-paced learning system that contains the most up-to-date content to meet industry education standards. Today, HCA, led by Judy and her daughter, Erin Moonen, President, continues to offer comprehensive eLearning courses and competencies to help long-term and post-acute care organizations maintain and improve the highest quality of care. Driven by industry and client needs, our commitment to quality content remains the same. Additionally, the daily presence of our family-rooted leadership team drives that quality along with our unparalleled customer service experience.
